Narrative medicine, Indigenous bone healer
Ssanyu lectures in the Narrative Medicine program at Columbia University, where she also earned her master's. She spent thirteen years with NGOs around the world and co-founded Narrative Bridge, which uses narrative medicine to strengthen listening and communication in diverse communities. She is also an Indigenous bone healer.
