Stage two
Immerse
The Immersives
Five days away with a curated group of peers, led by experts, to reset and make room for a better way to live and work.
Five days, Monday to Friday, away from the people who need something from you. A small group of members at the same threshold, and a program designed around what the Diagnostic found, practiced in the body rather than understood on paper.
The Diagnostic shows you what to change. The Immersive sets the plan in motion. It is a literal reset.

The shape of the week
Built on the oldest structure people have for marking a change.
Every culture marks a change of life the same way. You leave, you are tested somewhere apart, and you return to the people who know you. The five days follow that structure in four movements.
- 01
Arrival and the first threshold
You leave ordinary life behind and cross into the week. The first movement sets its terms and your intention for it.
- 02
Mentors, tools and trials
Working with the experts, you learn what you have to draw on and where your limits are.
- 03
The test
Where your sense of who you are meets the pull to stay the same. It is the hardest part of the week, and it is meant to be.
- 04
Celebration, reflection and return
You mark what has changed, make your plans, and declare them to the group before you leave.
How it is designed
Made to hold past Friday.
Three ways in
Each day works through language, ritual and symbol, so a change makes sense, feels right, and feels like the right thing to do.
Plans made during the week
You leave with specific plans for when and where you will act, made while the week is still with you, and tested against what is most likely to get in the way.
Practice in ordinary conditions
Some practice happens at rest and under realistic pressure, not only at the high points, so it holds on an ordinary Tuesday.
Sleep as part of the program
Memory is consolidated in sleep, so the schedule protects it.
A declaration with witnesses
Before you leave, you say what you are committing to in front of the group, who become the first people to hold you to it.
Something to carry home
A physical token, chosen to bring the week back to mind where it is hardest to remember.
The last hour, and the week after
The final hour is designed with care, because it is what you will remember. The dip that often follows a week like this is named in advance, so a hard first week at home reads as expected, not as failure.
Screening and a stop rule
Some practices carry real risk for some people. Every member is screened beforehand, and the week runs under a written rule for when to stop.
The week in full
Five days, and what you bring home from them.
- 01
Five days with the experts
Led by experts drawn from the Vanguard, with your advisor alongside.
- 02
A program built on your Diagnostic
Designed around what the Diagnostic found, not a general curriculum.
- 03
A small group of peers
Members at the same threshold you are, who remain your cohort through the year.
- 04
One place a year
Every membership year includes one place, on whichever of that year’s dates suits you. The program and all expert time are included.
- 05
A place chosen for it
Held at awe-inspiring locations, far enough from ordinary life to leave it behind. The location changes each year.
- 06
Your travel and room
Not included. You pay your own travel and your room, which we arrange with the venue and quote with each date.
- 07
Your plan, made and declared
Specific, tested against what will get in the way, and spoken in front of witnesses.
- 08
A token to carry home
Chosen to bring the week back to mind when you need it most.
What you can do with it
Begin while it is fresh
The plans you make are ready to act on the day you return.
Carry it into the Advisory
Your advisor picks up the plan when you get home, and your team stays with it.
Keep the group
The members you met become the first of the people who know what you are building.
